This beautiful garden is designed to attract a variety of butterfly species, including Monarchs, Silvery Checkerspots, Buckeyes, Ozark Swallowtails, and Black Swallowtails. The colorful and fragrant native plants included in this reservation are carefully selected to provide food and habitat for butterflies throughout the seasons. This garden includes:

2 New England Asters (1 Gallon):  Host plant for Silvery Checkerspots, Pearl Crescents, and Painted Ladies.

 

2 Anise Hyssop (1 Gallon): Blooms from early Summer until front.  A pollinator magnet and a wonderful nectar producer.

 

3 Purple Coneflower (1 Gallon):  Host plant for the Silvery Checkerspot Butterfly

 

2 Rose Swamp Milkweed (1 Gallon):  Host plant for the Monarch Butterfly! Lovely vanilla fragrance you detect coming from large rosy pink flowers.

 

4 Butterfly MilkWeed (1 Gallon): Host plant for the Monarch Butterfly!  A tough, drought-tolerant native with intense orange flowers in mid to late summer. Attracts many varieties of butterflies and is especially attractive to Monarchs. A beautiful solution for a dry sunny slope! Occurs in dry fields and roadsides in most of the US.

 

2 Yellow Bush Ozark Coneflower (1 Gallon):  Host plant for Silvery Checkerspot Butterflies and a true Arkansas native! This is a very rare native wildflower found only in the Ozark region of Arkansas and Missouri. Bush's Coneflower attracts various butterflies and bees, and is deer resistant! It is the most fragrant of all the Coneflowers.

 

1 Bronze Fennel (1 Gallon):  6’ tall bronze fern like stalks topped with yellow flowers.  A pollinator magnet and a host plant for the Black Swallowtail butterfly 

 

2 Prairie Coneflower (1 Gallon): Ratibida pinnata, commonly called gray headed coneflower, is an Ozark native plant which typically occurs in dry woods, prairies and along railroad tracks and roads. Host plant for Silvery Checkerspot Butterflies

 

3 Culver's Root(1 Gallon): Host plant for the Buckeye Butterfly

    RIGHT NOW, YOU WILL GO THROUGH A CHECKOUT PROCESS FOR $0.  

     

    LARGER ORDERS of $300+ will be subject to a “$75 Good Faith Deposit” that will be required after your reservation.  Please make sure to leave proper contact information so we can communicate with you and confirm your order. A deposit Invoice will be sent to you once your order is received and confirmed.  The deposit is fully refundable if your order is canceled before February 1, 2027.  After that the deposit is no longer refundable as we are in full swing production and have turned down other orders to fill yours.

     

    ALL BALANCES WILL BE PAID IN FULL IN PERSON ON PLANT PICK UP DAY SCHEDULED FOR EARLY SPRING 2027

     

    We will keep you posted along the way as Spring draws closer with all directions, instructions and pick up details.
