Bronze Fennel: 1 Gallon $13.99
Bronze Fennel: 6’ tall bronze fern like stalks topped with yellow flowers. A pollinator magnet and a host plant for the Black Swallowtail butterfly.
Tall plumes of intricately detailed coppery leaves accompany golden flower clusters that mature into gently-flavored anise seeds. Smokey Bronze Fennel is a remarkable enhancement for flower or herb gardens and serves as a primary source of nectar and pollen for numerous butterfly and beneficial insect species. Its feathery copper-bronze leaves can be used to season seafood, salads, or cooked vegetables. Additionally, crafting tea from the fragrant leaves or sweet seeds provides relief for nerves or an upset stomach.
